"PROCESS" (ep) 1987
This
1987 8-track recording by
Schuyler Hupp
was planned as a
preproduction for Mike Alvarez's
follow-up to his 1985 hit single
and video "The Night I Watched
You Sleep". When Roky
Erickson
stepped in the studio to play lead
guitar on Erickson's contribution
to Process,
"Hungry For Your Love",
Alvarez released the ep on cassette
to little Austin fanfare, despite
the
presence of at the time, an extremely
reclusive Erickson. Cover
art was
created by "Eybeam" creator
and
comic strip
master Sam Hurt.
Genre: "sock-o-delic".
